ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – The Florida Blue Florida Classic is a weekend where college friends reunite, families come together and fans show out for an O-town showdown to witness the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Rattlers and Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) Wildcats battle it out on the gridiron for bragging rights. On November 19, 2016, before an eager audience of 45,372 fans from both sides, B-CU netted a sixth victory at Camping World Stadium.
FAMU got points on the board early in the first quarter, scoring a field goal. However, B-CU was able to score not one, but two touchdowns, the second of which resulted from a fumble, leaving the first quarter score of 14-3 B-CU.

However, FAMU was able to lighten the blow with a touchdown drive of its own: running back Devin Bowers completed a fourth-down pass to Desmond Noird, who rushed the ball for 27 yards to score. B-CU led 21-10 at the half.
The Rattlers scored another field goal in third quarter, and the rest was defense, forcing a B-CU fumble in the end zone in one notable play. Third quarter ended with B-CU leading 21-13.
FAMU running back Devin Bowers netted a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but B-CU nailed the coffin shut with three of their own, closing out the match with a 39-19 score.
