4 Jaguars, 1 Buccaneers, 1 Dolphins selected to NFL 2018 Pro Bowl

NEW YORK (FNN SPORTS) – The NFL announced the Pro Bowl rosters for the 2017 season Tuesday night. There were 43 players selected from the AFC and 43 selected from the NFC, and players with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins made the list.

Jaguars’ cornerbacks A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey, and defensive linemen Calais Campbell and Malik Jackson, including Dolphins strong safety Reshad Jones were selected to the AFC squad. Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has been selected to his six straight Pro Bowl and will play with the NFC squad.

The Pittsburgh Steelers led all teams with a league-best eight selections in the 2018 Pro Bowl.

The Killer B’s — Antonio BrownBen RoethlisbergerLe’Veon Bell and Chris Boswell — along with linebacker Ryan Shazier (who suffered a season-ending spinal injury earlier this month) headlined the group, which will play in the annual all-star game Jan. 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Tackle Alejandro Villanueva, guard David DeCastro and center Maurkice Pouncey rounded out the Steelers‘ selections.

In the NFC, the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles tied for tops in the conference with six picks apiece, led by quarterbacks Carson Wentz (who will miss the game because of a knee injury) and Drew Brees.

Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore and running back Alvin KamaraCardinals special teamer Budda Baker and Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt were the only rookies selected for the game.
