ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) — Randy Ross — What began as a relief effort for Texas in “I-4 for Texas” 3 weeks ago, morphed into “I-4 for Florida” following hurricane Irma, and is now “I-4 for Puerto Rico.”
The donation drive kicks-off Saturday, September 23rd, with multiple drop points for the convenience of donors. “Our community is stepping up yet again. “I-4 for Texas resulted in 5 semi-trailer trucks escorted directly into Houston. I-4 for Florida reached all the way to Marathon, in the Keys, as well as heavily impacted areas in Apopka.
However, we anticipate I-4 for Puerto Rico to triple the original the previous initiatives,” said Randy Ross, the drive organizer.

“I-4 for Puerto Rico” has partnered not only with Americorps, but as well with military leaders to ensure our shipment, traveling by cargo ship, gets into the hands of those in need in Puerto Rico. “Like the drives for Texas and Florida, we feel the connection to experienced Government agencies is critical to our success,” said Ross.
