Jazz In The Gardens Teams with Knight Foundation to Offer Film, Music & Arts Conference

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – Jazz In The Gardens has partnered with the Knight Foundation to present a more enriching experience for this year’s attendees by presenting the Film, Music & Arts Conference (FMAC) at Jazz In The Gardens March 16-17, 2017 at the Kovens Conference Center at FIU’s Biscayne Bay campus (3000 NE 151st Street North Miami, FL 33181). FMAC will celebrate local artists and offer networking opportunities for artists, organizations, arts managers, community and economic development professionals, students, and educators working in the arts industry in South Florida and nationwide. The conference will include art exhibits, art installations, performance art stations, and interactive art experiences.

Filmmaker, musicians, and artists will enjoy intimate discussions with leaders in the arts industry on how to up-level their work to reach more fans and earn more income. Additionally, attendees will enjoy a film showcase of locally produced films, a juried music competition, national poetry finals (Poetry Slam), and a post-conference luncheon that will feature a highly engaging women’s panel discussion.

According to the Jazz In The Gardens website, “FMAC at JITG is a multi-purpose event that will educate, showcase and celebrate the diversity of art forms and artists in and around South Florida.”
