ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – Endorsed by both Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Kissimmee Mayor Jose A. Alvarez, Lori Harris kicked off her campaign bid for Orange County Commissioner District 4 at the Orange County Regional History Center with supporters Wednesday morning.
Mayor Dyer introduced Harris before she officially launched her campaign for what she called a “fresh perspective” and “proven leadership,” as the next Orange County Commissioner for District 4.
Recently, Orange County Commissioner Jennifer Thompson noted in a Facebook video that this is “a blatant power grab” by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the downtown establishment to get their hands on the control of the Orange County commission.
