Magic Defeat Celtics 116-108 to Snag Playoff Spot

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – After a seven-year drought and four coaches later, Orlando Magic Head Coach Steve Clifford finally led his team to snag a playoff spot after defeating the Boston Celtics 116-108 Sunday night.

The Magic racked up 29 assists and shot 37% from three-point range, tying them with the Hawks at eighth best in the category. Terrance Ross, who has proven himself to be the Magic’s deadliest weapon, hit five threes for the night.

Sunday’s win was the third in the Magic’s latest win streak, leaving them with their final season match against the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday.
