ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – On Wednesday, Orange County School Board member Christine Moore qualified by petition to have her name placed on the ballot for the Orange County Commission District 2 race, according to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections office’s website.
Moore joins Mark Byrd, Fred Brummer, and Patricia Rumph as the fourth candidate to qualify by petition. The fifth candidate, Antuan Bibbs, has not yet qualified.
Orange County District 2 Commissioner Rod Love was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to replace former Commissioner Bryan Nelson, who was recently elected mayor of Apopka. Love has not announced his intent to run in the August 2018 primary election.
