SANFORD, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – The Seminole Soil & Water Conservation District (SSWCD) Board of Supervisors voted in favor of SSWCD Resolution 208-004, which supports the rural boundary currently in place, Board Vice Chairman and Seat 4 Supervisor Ed Young stated in a release to Florida National News.
Seat 2 Supervisor David Mahnken and Vice Chairman Young voted in favor of the resolution while the Board Chairman and Seat 3 Supervisor Justin York voted against it. Seat 5 Supervisor Judith Benson was absent and the Seat 1 Supervisor seat is currently vacant, according to the release. Vice Chairman Young will forward the resolution to the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners.
