TAMPA – The National Football League announced today that Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Keith Tandy has been voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week for Week 14.
Tandy, earning his first career Clutch Performer of the Week award, recorded a game-clinching interception with under a minute remaining in Tampa Bay’s 16-11 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Tandy also led the Buccaneers with nine tackles and adding three passes defensed, including a pass deflection that was intercepted by cornerback Brent Grimes. Tandy’s interception against New Orleans was his second consecutive game-winning interception, after doing so in Week 13 against the San Diego Chargers.
Tandy is the second Buccaneers player to be voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer this season (Roberto Aguayo – Week 5).
