Miami Film Festival Announces 2018 Winners: A Sort Of Family Wins Best Film, Mateo Gil Won Best Director

MIAMI, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – The Miami Film Festival announced the winners of its  35th edition on Saturday. Film director Diego Lerman’s “A Sort of Family” took the Knight Competition for Best Film and Writer-director Mateo Gil won best director for “The Law Thermodynamics.”

The 2018 festival took place from March 9 through 18, and is the only major film festival to be produced by a college or university.
