FNN SPORTSDENVER (FNN SPORTS) — The Jacksonville Jaguars continued their surge toward the postseason with a 34-20 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High, improving to 11-4 on the season.
Historic Win and Team Success
The win marked Jacksonville’s first 11-win season since 2007 and extended the Jaguars’ winning streak to six games, the second-longest single-season streak in franchise history. During the stretch, Jacksonville has outscored opponents by 113 points, the best six-game scoring margin in team history and the top mark by any NFL team in 2025.
Head coach Liam Coen became the 10th head coach since 1990 to win at least 11 of his first 15 NFL games. The Jaguars also completed a season sweep of the AFC West for the first time since 2007 and improved to 5-2 on the road, their best road winning percentage since 2005.
Lawrence Leads Explosive Offense
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 23 of 36 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns while adding 20 rushing yards and a rushing score. Lawrence became just the third player in NFL history to post at least 275 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in consecutive games.
Lawrence now has a career-high 33 total touchdowns this season, the second-most in a single season in franchise history. His passer rating has topped 100 in four consecutive games, tying a franchise record and marking the longest active streak in the NFL.
Wide receiver Parker Washington caught six passes for a career-high 145 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown. Running back Travis Etienne Jr. added 66 scrimmage yards and a touchdown, reaching 5,000 career scrimmage yards since 2022 and setting a career high with 13 total touchdowns this season.
Defense and Takeaways Set the Tone
Jacksonville’s defense recorded two takeaways, including a fumble recovery by Emmanuel Ogbah and an interception by Jarrian Jones. The Jaguars now have 28 takeaways on the season, the second-most in the NFL, and have recorded multiple takeaways in nine games, the most in franchise history.
Linebacker Foye Oluokun led the defense with 11 tackles, moving into fourth place on the franchise’s all-time tackle list. Defensive lineman B.J. Green II recorded a sack for the second straight game, becoming one of only two undrafted rookies in the NFL to do so this season.

NISEY LOU S.South Florida held an early advantage and reclaimed the lead late, but UTSA’s second-half execution proved to be the difference Thursday night at the Alamodome.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (FNN SPORTS) — South Florida gave itself a chance to steal a road win Thursday night, but UTSA answered when it mattered most, defeating the Bulls 31-24 at the Alamodome.
USF struck first behind D.J. Crowther, who broke through for a 15-yard touchdown run to give the Bulls an early advantage. Quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr. helped keep South Florida’s offense moving throughout the night as the Bulls continued to respond whenever UTSA threatened to take control.
USF stayed within reach from start to finish, but the second half belonged to a UTSA offense that consistently found a way to finish drives.
UTSA Finds Its Rhythm
Running back A’Marion Peterson became the difference-maker for the Roadrunners, finishing with 92 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
UTSA scored on every second-half possession, gradually shifting momentum away from a USF team that continued to battle offensively. The Roadrunners leaned heavily on their ground game while keeping the Bulls from building any sustained separation.
