African American Chamber of Commerce Announces 2016 Eagle Awards Finalists

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida (AACCCF) hosted Press Conference to announce 2016 Eagle Awards finalists. The AACCCF in partnership with Title Sponsor, Walt Disney World Resort, will host the 2016 Eagle Awards on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This event is a celebration of extraordinary businesses and entrepreneurs that have demonstrated a commitment to the growth and development of Central Florida businesses and community.

Eleven finalists were announced for the highly coveted four awards presented at the 2016 Eagle Awards gala.

The Corporate Recognition Award recognizes and honors an organization or corporation that has made exceptional contributions and connections to the African American small business community throughout Central Florida.

The Corporate Recognition Award finalists are:
• Hebni Nutrition Consultants, Inc.
• Peninsula Metal Finishing Inc.
• Precious Creations Preschool & Academy

The Emerging Business Award recognizes and honors a business in operation less than five years that has demonstrated excellence in business practices and growth from its start-up, as well as continued financial stability, improvement and customer service.

The Emerging Business Award finalists are:
• CK Flooring, Inc.
• Enchanting Event Designs and Planning
• George Stiell CPA LLC

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes and honors an individual who has been instrumental in the success of a business based on overall performance of the business over the last three years, what the entrepreneur believes makes them different and their vision for the future of the business.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalists are:
• City Prints Florida
• Global One Networks, LLC
• Prime Electrical Services, Inc.

The Eagle Award recognizes and honors an African American business that has made notable, long-term contributions to economic development in their industry and community. Individuals are chosen based on their contributions or success in business.

The Eagle Award finalists are:
• ACY Contractors, LLC.
• BFA Environmental Consultants
