Buccaneers WR Mike Evans Voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week

TAMPA BAY, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) — By Tampa Bay Buccaneers // The National Football League announced today that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week for Week 17.

Evans, earning his first career Clutch Performer of the Week award, recorded a 10-yard touchdown pass with 3:13 remaining in Tampa Bay’s 17-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Evans had five catches for 65 yards on the day. The touchdown catch was his 12th of the season, tying the team record for touchdown catches in a season, which he set as a rookie in 2014.

Evans is the third Buccaneers player to be voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer this season (Roberto Aguayo, Week 5; Keith Tandy, Week 14).
