Christopher Comins Donates Trauma Kits to Belle Isle Police, Launching School Safety Initiative

BELLE ISLE, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – Philanthropist Christopher Comins has been spotlighted in Florida National News before when he donated a totally renovated police station to the Belle Isle Police Department. Now Comins has launched a school safety company to include trauma kits and window film protections for schools throughout Florida. Continuing his affinity for the men and women of law enforcement, Comins donated 20 trauma kits for all Belle Isle police vehicles. The kits are far from your normal first aid kits as they include items that control bleeding in the event of a gun shot or wound. “I, like our President, believe law enforcement should have limitless tools to serve and protect our citizens. If these trauma kits help save one life…then this donation was in God’s plan,” said Comins, President of Comins Safety Systems.
Comins is a resident of the City of Belle Isle and donated these items in partnership with Ashley Morgan (pictured) who embroidered each kit personally. Comins hopes all schools, police vehicles and service businesses look to improve their safety initiatives with trauma kits and window hardening film. “We live in a different time than when I grew up. If, God forbid, tragedy strikes, these kits will hopefully help,” Comins expressed. For more information on the trauma kits or window glass hardening, contact 407.401.4409.
