Florida Realtors PAC Endorses Rep. Daisy Morales’s Re-Election Bid

ORLANDO, Fla. – State Representative Daisy Morales’s re-election campaign announced today the Florida Realtors PAC’s endorsement of her candidacy for House District 44 among its slate of candidate endorsements.

Florida Realtors PAC Trustee Chair Danny Nix said in a written statement:

“Florida continues to be an economic beacon of success for the nation, largely due to the perseverance and growth of its real estate industry. This success has been driven by sound economic policy from our state leaders who understand the important link between Florida’s economy and its real estate industry. The candidates being endorsed today have demonstrated that they understand this connection and will work tirelessly to enact laws and policies that promote homeownership and protect the rights of homeowners throughout the state.”

Florida Realtors PAC describes itself as “not Republican or Democrat – it’s real estate. It’s simply a strong voice – and sometimes the only strong voice – advocating in Tallahassee for Florida’s Realtors and homeowners.” It analyzes candidates for office by looking at a range of criteria, including past votes that have supported the real estate industry.

“I’m excited to be endorsed by the Florida Realtors PAC,” Rep. Morales said. “We share the priority of creating affordable housing for Floridians, not only to help them fulfill the American dream, but it’s beneficial for the 180,000 realtors working to help them fulfill the dream as well. We have a lot more work to do, and I’m excited to get to work for the residents of District 44.”

Rep. Morales has also earned repeat endorsements from U.S. Congressman Darren Soto, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, State Rep. Kristen Arrington (D-Kissimmee), former State Representatives John Cortes and Bruce Antone, and Ocoee District 4 Commissioner George Oliver III, because they believe she is the representative they can trust to serve Florida House District 44.

She has additionally garnered endorsements from State Rep. Susan Valdes (D-Tampa), Florida Rising, and the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association.
