Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Shantel Davis to the Florida State College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — On Tuesday, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Shantel Davis to the Florida State College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees.

Davis, of Jacksonville, is the vice president of real estate and facilities management for CSX Transportation. She has worked for CSX Transportation since 1999 and has served in her current role since 2017. Davis oversees operations of one of the largest fertilizer port terminals and is responsible for a $470 million portfolio. She completed the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Development Program and was recognized among Diversity MBA Magazine’s Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida and her master’s degree in business administration from Jacksonville University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
