Jaguars Sign Quadree Henderson and Davis Tull, Cut Two

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed second-year WR Quadree Henderson and second-year LB Davis Tull, the club announced today. To make room on the roster, the Jaguars waived/injured third-year LB James Onwualu (knee) and rookie WR Marcus Simms (concussion). Onwualu and Simms will revert to the team’s reserve/injured list if they clear waivers.

Henderson, 5-8, 190, played in five games with the New York Giants in 2018 and totaled five kick returns for 112 yards and nine punt returns for 68 yards prior to being placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 26. Henderson attended Pittsburgh from 2015-17 and led the Panthers with 1,204 all-purpose yards in 2017. In 2016, Henderson was named a consensus All-American as a return specialist after he led the FBS with 1,166 total return yards and finished third in the country with 15.8 yards per punt return. He attended Alexis Dupont High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Henderson will wear No. 81 for the Jaguars.

Tull, 6-3, 239, was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft. After spending the 2015 season on Injured Reserve, he spent parts of the 2016 season on the Falcons’ practice squad and the 2017 training camp with the Rams. Most recently, Tull played with the Memphis Express in the American Alliance Football League. Tull played at Chattanooga and finished his career as the SoCon’s all-time sack leader (37.0) and was named the SoCon Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He attended Bearden High School (Knoxville, Tenn.) and was a three-year letter winner.  Tull will wear No. 58 for the Jaguars.

The Jaguars have 90 players on their active roster.
