TAMPA BAY, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – // Source: Tampa Bay Lightning // The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Jack Finley to a three-year entry level contract, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Finley, 18, skated in 61 games for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League during the 2019-20 regular season, posting 19 goals and 57 points to go along with 32 penalty minutes and a +32 rating. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound forward also recorded four power-play goals and three game-winning tallies last season for the Chiefs. Finley set career highs in 2019-20 for goals, assists (38), points, power-play goals and plus/minus. He also registered 14 multi-point games last season.
The Kelowna, British Columbia native has skated in 131 career WHL games, all with Spokane over three seasons, registering 28 goals and 77 points to go along with 84 penalty minutes. Finley has also appeared in 15 WHL playoff games, all in 2019 for Spokane, recording a goal and eight points.
The Lightning drafted Finley in the second round, 57th overall, in the 2020 NHL Draft.
