NEW ORLEANS – In true NOLA spirit, popular brass band The Soul Rebels have shown us why music and culture heals all even in the midst of trial and tribulation. Right on the heels of a major storm, this New Orleans Jazz infused band has done it again when they opened for The Rolling Stones at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this past Monday night.
Right in their hometown of New Orleans, The Soul Rebels have become the go-to live band for major artists to share the stage with, from the likes of Katy Perry, Nas, and DMX to G-Eazy, Rakim, and Joey Bada$$ to name a few. The Soul Rebels feed Louisiana culture, they are the glue that merges modern and contemporary musical genres with the heart and soul (no pun intended) of N’awlins brass. We will see all of this and more as they gear up to drop new music this fall!
