NEW YORK, (FNN NEWS) — License! Global magazine (www.licensemag.com) is pleased to announce that NYC Summit: The Business of Brand Licensing will return on March 2-3, 2017, in a new and larger location, following the success of this year’s sold out event. This two-day, executive-level conference and networking event is developed by the License! Globalteam at UBM Americas (organizers of Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe) in conjunction with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), the industry’s leading trade organization. The 2017 NYC Licensing Summit will take place at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of New York City’s Times Square.
Tony Lisanti, Global Editorial Director, License! Global: “The positive response to the sold-out inaugural NYC Summit earlier this year was overwhelming. There is clearly a strong demand for an event like this that brings together the licensing sector’s thought leaders in an intimate setting designed for networking and knowledge sharing. We’re looking forward to expanding the event next year with another top-tier slate of speakers and even more networking opportunities.”
This year’s inaugural NYC Licensing Summit, which took place in early March in Manhattan’s Financial District, featured more than 18 distinguished speakers from companies including Target, Global Brands Group, YouTube, the National Football League, Nickelodeon, Beanstalk, Hasbro, Cherokee Global Brands and more.
In conjunction with the announcement of 2017 NYC Licensing Summit dates, License! Global has also extended its reach into video today with the launch of LicenseTV, a free video news platform that will join the magazine’s suite of digital and print offerings. Regular video releases will feature interviews and informative talks with leading brand licensing executives covering a range of topics, from reaching Millennials to insights into how to create products that sell. The new, web-based video news platform debuted today at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, NV, on screens throughout the show, as well as on the new online hub www.LicenseMag.com/LicenseTV. License! Global is the official news partner of both Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe.
