Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Hosts 10th Annual Neighborhood & Community Summit
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Orlando residents to attend the 10th Annual Neighborhood & Community Summit on Saturday, March 21 from 7:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
The annual Summit brings together neighborhood, arts and cultural, civic, community and faith-based leaders and volunteers to share information and ideas for community building and creating partnerships. It also provides an opportunity to learn more about City programs, initiatives and resources that will help guide neighborhood and community organizations toward making a greater positive impact in our community.
“It takes all of us working together – government, business, community groups and citizens – to make Orlando the best City in the world to live, work, play, raise a family and retire in,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. “For 10 years running, this Summit continues to bring our community together to ensure Orlando remains the leading, world-class City it is today.”
A variety of neighborhood engagement workshops, best practices and networking opportunities are available for attendees. Some of the many workshops that will be offered include:
- Ask Your Mayor
- Engaging Next Generation Leadership in Your Organization
