ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN) – Orange County Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor and State Representative District 48 nominee Daisy Morales joined local nonprofit Lady Storm Foundation and other community partners to distribute much needed food, diapers, and senior healthcare resources at the Holden Heights Community Center Saturday.

Supervisor Morales, along with Feed the Need Florida, joined Lady Storm Foundation to distribute food while Orange County Community Action Partnership made the Holden Heights Community Center available for the event and Dedicated Senior Medical Center provided senior healthcare resources. “We can say that everyone is okay, but some people are not okay,” said Lady Storm Foundation founder Lily Storm. “We’re here to help people become self-sufficient.”

Anticipation was so high for the event, which was scheduled to start at 10am, that cars began lining up two hours prior–to the point that traffic began to seep out to Michigan Avenue from 20th Street and Westmoreland Drive.
