Thuy Lowe Campaign Headquarters Opens Next To Universal Studios Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – Thuy (Twee) Lowe, a candidate for Florida’s 10th Congressional District is setting up shop next to Universal Studios Orlando, threatening to mount an aggressive push to defeat her Democratic opponent Val Demings in the Novemeber general election.

The huge campaign headquarters, fitting for a well funded candidate running for Governor, opened its doors at 5979 Vineland Road in Orlando to supporters and family Wednesday night.
Lowe, 50, is the Republican nominee running in the recently redrawn District 10 (about 45 percent Democratic compared with 27 percent Republican) held by incumbent U.S. Representative Daniel Webster (R) who’s running in the 11th congressional district.
The race for district 10 is far from over and Val Demings lacks 100 percent of Democratic support, Lowe told Florida National News in an interview at her campaign headquarters.
“Nearly 18,000 voters out of 40,000 who cast their ballots did not support Demings in the primary election,” Lowe expressed. These voters still have an option to vote for a candidate of their choice to represent them in Washington. “Their vote and voice will not be taken for granted by me, if elected,” stated Lowe.
Lowe stated that State Senator Geraldine F. Thompson, Former State Party Chair Bob Poe and Orlando attorney Fatima Rita Fahmy have a right to be outraged at the Democratic party establishment’s “thug-like power grab” in selecting Val Deming as their “puppet candidate” of choice in last month’s primary election.
“I look forward to providing the citizens with a fresh and balanced approach on issues that impact their lives in District 10,” Lowe promised. “When elected, I will faithfully represent all Republicans, Independants and Democrats.”
The general election is Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

The red cardigan was first awarded in 2017, in memory of Arnold Palmer who passed the year before. This is Henley’s fifth win on the PGA Tour.

Henley finished at 11 under par for the four day tournament, carding a 70 today. Collin Morikawa finished in second place at 10 under par. API defending champion, Scottie Scheffler, finished today at 4 under par, tied for 11th place.

This coming week, the top golfers head to TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, for The Players Championship. The winner will walk away with $4.5 million of the $25 million up for grabs. This is the PGA Tour’s largest regular season purse. Stay tuned to www.FloridaNationalNews.com for more.

The number one ranked golfer in the world, Scheffler finished at 15 under par for the four day tournament, carding a 66 today. Wyndham Clark finished in second place at 10 under par. API defending champion, Kurt Kitayama, did not make the cut, this weekend, finishing 7 over par after the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday.
