Tim Tebow’s NFL Comeback Comes To An End In Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released tight end Tim Tebow. The former Florida Gator and NFL QB was hoping to make his comeback with the Jags under Urban Meyer, who coached Tebow at the University of Florida.

Tim Tebow tweeted this morning, “Thankful for the highs and even the lows, the opportunities, and the setbacks. I’ve never wanted to make decisions out of fear of failure and I’m grateful for the chance to have pursued a dream…” Tebow had spent recent years in Minor League baseball, in hopes of landing with the New York Mets as an outfielder.

The Jaguars are at The Dream Finders Homes Practice Complex at TIAA Bank Field, getting ready for their second pre-season game on Monday, 8/23 at 8:00 p.m. in New Orleans against the Saints.
