Toys R Us Returns! Revived Shop Opens in New Jersey Mall

PARAMUS, NJ. (FNN NEWS) – For children and parents alike who were devastated by the saddening news of Toys R Us closing its doors for good, there is hope.

Business Insider reported Wednesday that Toys R Us is scheduled to open its first new store on November 30, 2019 in Paramus, New Jersey at the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall.

Earlier this year True Kids, Inc. resurrected the giant toy retailer, and has partnerships with B8ta and Target. With plans to open at least 10 stores by the conclusion of 2020, Toys R Us has a new concept with more interactive areas, designed to increase engagement between customers and toys. Tru Kids Brands CEO and former Toys R Us chief marketing officer Richard Barry said newness and nostalgia is an intentional blend for success for the brand.

Toys R Us closed all of its US stores summer 2018, but this new direction may be what’s necessary for the longevity of this returning brand.
