President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign is taking to the skies and local print ahead of the Democratic debate in Houston. The Trump campaign will employ aerial advertising across the city of Houston on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. In addition, the campaign is running full-page, color newspaper ads in the Houston Chronicle and San Antonio Express-News contrasting Democrats’ disastrous plans for America with President Trump’s clear record of accomplishments.
“Every single Democrat candidate has job killing, economy crushing policies that won’t work for America,” said Erin Perrine, Trump campaign deputy communications director.
“Team Trump is here to remind them and let everyone in Houston know what a complete disaster Democrats are for America.”
The Trump campaign’s 4,800 square feet air-banner will read: “SOCIALISM WILL KILL HOUSTON’S ECONOMY! VOTE TRUMP 2020” and “TEXT ‘USA’ TO 88022.”
The newspaper ads will run on the morning of the third wave of Democrat debates in Houston and will showcase Democrats calls for the elimination of private health insurance, abolishment of the fossil fuel industry, unnecessary regulations that will slow job creation, and higher taxes.
