Undefeated Orlando Pride Shut Out Gotham FC 2-0, Remain Dominant in NWSL Standings

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – The Orlando Pride (13-0-5, 44 points) continued their unbeaten run with a 2-0 victory over NJ/NY Gotham FC (10-4-4, 34 points) on Sunday night at Inter&Co Stadium. Adriana secured the win early with a brace in the first 15 minutes, solidifying the Pride’s place atop the NWSL standings and handing Gotham FC, the defending NWSL champions, a tough defeat.

This win also marked Head Coach Seb Hines as the most successful coach in Club history, earning his 26th victory. The Pride extended their league-record unbeaten streak to 19 games, including their 13th win this season. Additionally, the team tied their record for most home wins in a single season, with seven victories, a record originally set last year.

Adriana’s two early goals set the tone for the match, with the Pride’s defense and goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse ensuring Gotham couldn’t find a way back. Moorhouse earned her ninth shutout of the season, extending her Club record and leading the league in this category.

The Pride honored their seven Olympians, including Adriana, Marta, Angelina, Barbara Banda, and Emily Sams, who all started in their first home match since returning from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
