EATONVILLE, Fla. (FNN) – Source: ZORA! Festival // The Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities (ZORA! Festival) is pleased to announce the Florida Lottery as a Community Partner for ZORA! Festival 2022. As the Florida Lottery (Lottery) continues to invest in the growth and advancement of students and communities across Florida, they recognize the ZORA! Festival to be a significant event that provides a variety of opportunities for students to grow.

“Our relationship with the Florida Lottery is long standing as our Community Partner and we are thrilled to have the organization’s support for this year’s festival,” said N. Y. Nathiri, Executive Director of the Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community P.E.C. “It is the number one financial benefactor of Florida’s public educational system and continues to pay a pivotal role in contributing to the progress of our community. The annual ZORA! Festival is so important because this event provides a public space for the general public to enjoy the finest arts and humanities programming in a safe and inspiring environment. At this time, when the stresses and strains of every-day life can present sometimes seemingly overwhelming challenges, what a joy it is to bring together the human family, where guests can learn about and enjoy the cultural contributions which people of African ancestry have made to the United States and to the world”, added Nathiri.
