State Rep. Fentrice Driskell Appointed to Redistricting Committee

Tampa, FL – In a press release, Florida State Representative Fentrice Driskell (D-Tampa) announced today that she was appointed by House Speaker Chris Sprowls to the 2022 Redistricting Committee.

Representative Driskell issued the following statement:

“I am grateful and honored to have been appointed to the 2022 Redistricting Committee. The people of Florida can trust that I will work to ensure our districts fairly reflect the diversity of our state and do not favor any political agenda. The work done by this committee in the coming year will determine the future of the State of Florida, and we cannot take this task lightly. I look forward to working alongside Chair Tom Leek and my colleagues in the Legislature to ensure our districts are fair and equal.”

Interim committee week meetings for the 2022 Legislative Session will begin September 20, 2021. The Legislative Session will start January 11, 2022.
