State Representative Daisy Morales and Commissioner Tony Ortiz to Host Job Fair in Orlando Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN) – Florida State Representative Daisy Morales (D-Orlando) and Orlando City Commissioner Tony Ortiz (District 2) is set to host a Community Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Englewood Neighborhood Center in Orlando.

The employers participating in the event will be seeking candidates with a variety of skills. Some employers will conduct on-site interviews.

A Seal and Expungement Workshop will be held onsite, and for those who qualify, a free attorney will be assigned, according to a press release by the Office of Florida State Representative Daisy Morales.

“We have assembled a list of employers who are actively hiring in Orlando, including many that have a history of hiring people with criminal records,” said Representative Morales.

As COVID-19 cases begin to steadily decline across Orange County, Rep. Morales is committed to helping people recover from the economic impact of the pandemic.

Candidates with all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to attend.

More than 25 employers are expected to attend. Employers will have bilingual information or bilingual people available at the event.
