Fueled by Grassroots Support, Charlie Crist Brings in Over $1 Million in April

ST. PETERSBURG — Today, Charlie Crist’s campaign for Governor of Florida announced another fundraising haul of over $1 million raised in the month of April.

The total marks Crist’s second consecutive million dollar fundraising month in 2022 and brings the campaign to more than $9.2 million total raised in the race to unseat Governor Ron DeSantis.

April’s fundraising efforts saw record grassroots support for Charlie, with over 12,400 individual donors, bringing the campaign’s total number of donors to nearly 44,000.

Charlie captured national attention this month, with features outlining his “Golden Rule” campaign in PoliticoVanity Fair, and Showtime’s “The Circus,” while also earning the endorsement of 15 leaders and elected officials from across the state including House Speaker Nancy PelosiSenator Shevrin JonesSenate Democratic Leader Pro Tempore Bobby Powell, and Leader Designate Fentrice Driskell among others.
