Orange County Commissioner Pete Clarke Files to Run for County Mayor

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FNN NEWS) – Orange County Commissioner Pete Clarke (R – District 3), who during a recent Orange County Republican Executive Committee meeting announced his consideration for Orange County Mayor, is the latest to officially file to run for Mayor Jacobs’ seat on Tuesday.

Commissioner Clarke has been busy of late working with the 1-4 for Puerto Rico project, a coalition of non-profit and community organizations, businesses, volunteers, and philanthropists who are amassing and shipping needed supplies to Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria’s devastation. Clarke has been involved with the project since its inception, I-4 to Texas, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, and worked through its I-4 to Orlando leg, which offered assistance to Orlando residents after Hurricane Irma.
