Supervisor Daisy Morales’ Annual Earth Day Tour Takes 40 Pine Hills Students on an Environmental Adventure

ORLANDO, Fla. (FNN NEWS) — Orange Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor Daisy Morales will host her 3rd annual Earth Day Awareness Tour at the historic Harry P. Leu Gardens, Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.
This year’s Earth Day tour takes 40 students attending a Pine Hills school outside of the classroom for an environmental adventure of Leu Gardens.
The tour will provide students with knowledge on gardening, plants, insects, wildlife and amazing prehistoric creatures.
“I’m thankful to the many environmental champions for their dedication to making Orange County a leader in environmental protection and sustainability,” stated Orange Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor Daisy Morales. “I look forward to working with the Pine Hills Community on environmental issues and community gardens.”
