15th Annual 9/11 ‘Drive to Donate’ Scheduled This Saturday at Daytona International Speedway

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FNN SPORTS) – Source: Daytona International Speedway // For the 15th year, Daytona International Speedway and OneBlood are partnering together to honor the victims of Sept. 11. This Saturday, Sept. 12th, the “Drive to Donate” blood drive will return to the “World Center of Racing,” bringing the Central Florida community together to give the “Gift of Life.”

Over the past 14 years, “Drive to Donate” has collected more than 6,100 units of blood. The “Drive to Donate” blood drive at the storied 2.5-mile tri-oval will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the UNOH Fanzone located in the Daytona International Speedway infield. Donors can enter the Speedway through Gate 40 and the Turn 1 tunnel, located off of Williamson Blvd.

Every guest that donates blood will receive:

·         A general admission ticket for the 2021 Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola NASCAR Xfinity Series race

·         Free 9/11 Commemorative T-shirt

·         Wellness checkup, including COVID-19 Antibody Testing, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening

All donors who schedule an appointment and donate will be entered to win:

o    One of five pairs of tickets to the 2021 Busch Clash At DAYTONA

o    Two Daytona 500 club ticket packages for the 2021 DAYTONA 500

o    Two Daytona 500 club ticket packages for the 2021 Coke Zero Sugar 400
